This will allow participants to experience the collaborative nature of the event, as well as the spirit of the event's organizer, Ms. Oshima, who is also the organizer of this event.  Cancer is a journey that has many paths and ways to the goal of being well. Fast or slow, with others or alone. But one thing is certain that when we reach the goal of NED (no evidence of disease) we are all winners.

The fun and purpose of this event is to allow the participants to experience the collaborative creation of the event, as well as to share in the Outrun Cancer community and support those with cancer and those supporting cancer. Once at the finish line, we will be connected with fellow runners, cancer fighters, and supporters, and we will have the opportunity to meet former Toyo University Hakone Ekiden runner, HO KA Ambassador!
